Police spokesman Abubakar Aliyu confirmed the incident occurred on August 13, 2026, around 11:30 a.m.

Armed bandits reportedly stormed the village, looting shops, abducting locals, and rustling livestock.Responding to a distress call, a joint security team engaged the attackers in a gun battle.
