Battery drain is one of those things that feels simple, but it’s often harder to track down. Most of us tend to blame apps, battery health, background activity, and even extreme temperatures. And sure, all of those play a role. But the major battery drain often comes from what’s right in front of you the whole time. It’s the display. I recently dropped my phone’s display refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz and got two extra hours out of battery.
