Hand-Dug Caissons, 24 Feet Deep: Building a Pool Foundation on a Hollywood Hills Slope Nobody Thought Was Buildable.

Thought this group might appreciate how the design responded to such a steep site. The pool and outdoor space ended up requiring a deep foundation system with hand-dug caissons reaching up to 24 feet.
