ILOILO CITY — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will continue to influence weather conditions across the western section of the Visayas in the coming days, bringing rain showers, thunderstorms, strong winds and rough seas to several areas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The Visayas Pagasa Regional Services Division (VPRSD) said Saturday, Aug. 15, that the southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon and the western section of the Visayas.
