MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) rescued a former beauty queen and five Russian women from a suspected human trafficking group during an operation in Makati City on Thursday. The NBI said its International Operations Division (IOD) conducted the operation early Thursday, resulting in the rescue of the six women and the arrest of a male suspect.
